One Passivhaus Search for Zero Carbon
Previous papers have demonstrated the viability of the use of solar energy for space heating of Passive Houses in Temperate Maritime Climates. In addition financial feasibility of this approach has also been demonstrated.

However in order for the solution to be fully viable, it must demonstrates that it is also Zero Carbon. That is, that over the lifetime of the installation, it will consume less carbon than was used in its construction.

This paper carries out a carbon analysis for the installation which has previously been described.
